This is an image from a series of film prints that I did within my exploration of identity. I origionally planned to just take photos of the model in unusual locations dressed in oposite attire for those locations. I wanted to create high contrast and overly textures images. As the shoot went on the model's back became for of a focus. I like the way the bare skin looks agains the bricks and wood. After I had printed the shoot I thought more about the fact that you have never seen your own face you only see refections or photographs; this made me think that is is similar when it comes to your back, you can't physically see that either. I like the way that because she is half naked in a rural outdoors place it makes her vulnerable. I am pleased with how the set of images came out because even though they werent what I origionally planned I think that the accidental meaning is a lot stronger.
