Elizabeth lookalike/ Looklike Elizabeth

These are some photos that I took in the studio. I used a black backdrop and two soft boxes to create these images. I like these images because of how brightly contrasted they are. I like the way her hair is lit up, it frames her hace nicely and adds a light glow to the images. I didn't plan these images they were just to test the lighting in the studio but they came out so well. I also really like the fact that she looks like Elizabeth the 1st, her pale skin and orange hair give the image an Elizabethan feel.

I really like this blog because of its simplicity and boldness. I like the way the work is set out evenly and you can click on each image to see it enlarged. I like the way that each heading isn't too big taking over the home page but they are clear enough to define your search.

I like the way that this blog is set out because of how visually appealing it is yet its also clean and clearly set out to make the viewer find it easy to navigate the site. I like the fact that the host has advertised some of their work on the home page of the website so that you instantly know what you are looking at. I like this website because of how professional it looks.

The advantages and disadvantages of free to create websites

Advantages-
1. The website is free to set up.
2. The web hosting is free.
3. They are easy to set up and easy to load art to.
4. The host of the site is able to promote their site to attract visitors.
5. The host is able to market from that platform to social media.

Disadvantages:
1. The host is part of a community of different artists.
2. Its difficult to find your website.
3. The art isconfused with ads and other artist’s art.
4. In most cases Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is not possible.
5. Being free usually means that there are limitations on design and size.
