Alec Soth is an American photographer most famous for his 'large-scale American projects featuring the midwestern United States. My favourite collection of his work is Paris/Minnesota, I like how these photos have a documentary feel to them yet they look like fine are pieces. His wokr has been described as having a cinematic feel, I agree with this statement and until I read it I couldn't think of how I would describe his work but this fits it perfectly. When I look at his work I feel like there is a story behind each image.
